Privacy Policy

Information we store

• Sign-in details. Signing in uses your Google account, via Firebase Authentication. From it we receive an account id, your email address, and the name and profile photo on that Google account.
• Things you create. Designs you save (including the names you enter and the options you pick), printers and filaments you save, logos you upload, and the files you download.
• Daily download counts. To run the free daily limit, we count each day's downloads for every account and for every network address. The network address is never stored as-is: all we hold is a one-way hash, which can't be reversed to reveal it. These counts delete themselves after about two days.
• Server logs. Our servers record each request: your IP address, your browser, the page or file asked for, and your account id when you're signed in. We use these to fix problems and prevent abuse, and they are removed after about 30 days.
• Support email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.

In your own browser, the site remembers your sign-in and the printer you last chose. A shared design link contains the design itself, so anyone who has the link can open it.

Cookies and analytics

Signing in relies on your browser storing a sign-in token. Without it, you'd have to sign in on every page.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited and which designs people preview and download. It sets cookies and gives Google your browser and device type and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We don't send it the names you type or your email address.

If you're in the EU, the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent message from Google asks you before analytics or ad cookies are used, and nothing is set until you choose. You can change your answer any time with Cookie choices in the footer, or by deleting the cookies this site has set in your browser.

Advertising

The site is free because ads pay for it. The ads are provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to choose which ads to show you, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors in the EU, the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are asked first, through the consent message described above.

You can turn off personalized ads from Google in Google's ad settings. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.

Companies that handle data for us

We don't sell or rent personal information. These providers process it on our behalf to run the site:

• Google Cloud and Firebase: hosting, sign-in, and storage for your designs, logos, and files, in the United States.
• Google Analytics: site usage, as described above.
• Google AdSense: the ads on the site, as described above.
• Our email provider: receiving and answering support mail.

Beyond these, we disclose personal information only when the law requires us to.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the account page. Doing so erases your saved designs, saved printers, uploaded logos, the files you downloaded, and your sign-in record. To remove just one logo, delete it from the same page.

A few traces last a short while longer: that day's download counts expire within about two days, server logs within about 30 days, and our database backups, which hold roughly a week of history, within 7 days. We also keep a bare note that your account id was deleted, which on its own doesn't identify you. If you sign in again later, you start with a new, empty account.

Children

The site is meant for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly gather information from anyone younger. Parents and teachers are welcome to make designs on a child's behalf.
